After over 20 years of serving the community, Dr. Berg has transitioned ownership of SuperGrin Orthodontics to Dr. Hayden McKay to continue the tradition of creating confident smiles. Thank you Dr. Berg for many years of excellent care, and welcome Dr. McKay to the SuperGrin team!
Dr. Hayden McKay grew up in Provo and went to Timpview High School, just down the road from the SuperGrin office. This makes it especially meaningful for him to return home and care for families in the community. As he begins this new chapter, Dr. McKay is honored to build upon the foundation that Dr. Berg established over the years. He is dedicated to
delivering beautiful results while integrating new technology to improve the patient experience.
Education
Dr. McKay earned his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University. During this time, he served a two-year church mission to Brazil (ele fala português). Upon graduation, he attended The University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. His orthodontic training took place in Henderson, Nevada, where he completed the Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AEODO) Residency Program at Roseman University of Health Sciences. During residency, he received specialized training in orthodontic treatment for patients with cleft lip and cleft palate. One of Dr. McKay’s favorite parts of practicing orthodontics is seeing patients’ confidence grow as their smiles change. He values building relationships with patients and treats every patient like
family.
Beyond the Office
When he’s not in the office, Dr. McKay enjoys fly-fishing, skiing, and golfing. He is crazy about cars and jets, and he always has a dad joke up his sleeve. He is an avid sports fan and loves to cheer on the Jazz, BYU Cougars, and Mammoth. Most of all, he loves time spent with his wife and two children.
